Wouldn't that be better for you? 39.Sd4 I liked the knight move better! You could play ...Ke7 and go after the pawn. 39...Ta3 That Is Just what I would have done and I beleive that I could maybe have won then on the free pawn! 40.Td1 Lc4 It is dificoult to find the best moves here, don't you think so? 41.f4 Ta2 42.Tc1 Ta4 That f4 move was pretty surprising. Are you sure that it was the best move? you weekened your pawns! 43.h3 I thought hard about 41.Rc1, but felt the pawn move gave me a better chance at winning! I ended up with 42.Rc1?! 43...gxf4 My fingers are thrembling each time I move a peice here ) It is very easy to make a mistake here. 44.gxf4 I know what you mean! 44...Ld5 It wasn't the plan that you should keep the pawn you got on c7 ( My peices are to tied up! 45.Td1 This is getting very interesting! 45...Le4 (offering draw) What do you say, should we take a draw. Or do you think you can win this? 46.Sc6 I think that I'd like to play on a bit longer. I've got an idea! 46...Ke6 I understand, I would probably have done the same. But Now I'm calm, all my analysis end with draw. 47.Td8 Ta3 How is it going with your other games in this tournament, are you winning then all? I did! 48.Sd4+ Yes, I too won my other games in this section! This is the only games left in this tournament! 48...Ke7 What will happen then, if we finish with a draw? Will we both win, or can there only be one winner? 49.Tb8 If we finish in a draw then we both would share 1st place! 49...Kd6 Now I am really sure that this is a draw! I don't think that 48.Nd4+ was your best move. 50.Sxf5+ Lxf5 What was that? Are you realy that desperat to win?) Now that is what I call going for a long shot! 51.Txb6+ Kd5 (offering draw) Now the best you can get in this game is a draw! and I think you should take it! I can't win eigther 52.Txh6 This game has looked drawish for a long time, so I thought I'd try to liven things up! 52...Lxh3 Well, then I guess we will just have to play the game all the way to the draw 53.Th7 Ke4 54.Kf2 (offering draw) O.K., I'll offer the draw this time?! 1/2 |
